Big12-fans.com 2006 Big 12 Baseball Preview -

Texas Longhorns

The Longhorns are coming off their 6th NCAA baseball national championship and look to continue their winning ways. The core of the team continues to be a lights out pitching staff, one of the tops in the league, if not the Nation. Pre-season All Americans Kyle McCulloch and Kenn Kasparek anchor the staff and are joined by outfielder Drew Stubbs for some offensive power. Texas does loose a lot of offense but the pitching should be able to carry the team until the offense can get going. Texas is the preseason favorite to not only win the Big 12 but the College world series.
